The W Insurance Company is headquartered in San Diego, California, and is licensed to offer insurance in California. W Insurance is a subsidiary of the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club, an affiliate of the Automobile Club of Southern California.

Company History

Our roots trace back to the founding of Wawanesa Mutual Insurance in Manitoba, Canada where in 1896 a group of farmers created the company to insure against losses to their equipment. Now over 125 years the company has evolved and in 2024 we became part of the Automobile Club of Southern California family. Sharing similar values, we're is committed to delivering superior service to our members, offering competitive pricing, and actively supporting our communities.
